about the author
JL JEPPSON
John was raised in Moorhead Mn where he joined the Marine Corps. He found his life partner while attending his occupational specialty school in Albany GA. They were engaged and married after just six months — When you know, you know. Their marriage was immediately challenged as the USMC sent John on an oversea tour. During this tour, John was able to travel to such places as Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Australia.
After the military, John finished school as a computer programmer and has been working as such for the past 20 plus years. John was able to work remotely as a programmer so they enjoyed their freedom and lived in numerous locations in such states as California, Minnesota, North Dakota, Georgia, South Dakota, Arkansas, Idaho, and now Texas. John loved to travel and has visited nearly every state in the US, including both Canada and Mexico.
John has always wanted to be a writer from a young age. He loved making up stories. But he also struggled with ADHD and dyslexia so reading and writing always came as a challenge. During the years, John has attempted on multiple occasions to write novels but nothing was published. Then John’s childhood friend, Rex, got diagnosed with ALS. The last time John visited him before he passed, Rex encouraged John to take publishing serious.
JL Jeppson is a pseudonym for John Jeppson, but it’s also a pseudonym for his spouse who shares the same initials. He chose to go by JL as he couldn’t have done this without her
